Food is love made visible

Just sipping my coffee and
giving thanks that my thoughts
aren’t audible.

Life is short,
Eat dessert first

Welcome to Hob House

Connection:

One favourite quote which is on the menus at Hob House is “Food is love made visible” and this is not to say that all food is love filled, in a world of fast food and drive in takeaways the connection to the dish itself is lost, there is nothing so awful as speaking to a machine and at the end of it getting a box shoved in your face, and it is with this in mind that I also wanted to share my knowledge of the Middle East Cuisine not only to my diners and to the younger generation but to a wider audience also.

Sharing:

At Hob House we serve the food family style so that everyone on the table gets to share and taste the food. This kind of dining provides a place for not only sharing food but sharing your experiences and your love for your friends and family around the table, this is the ultimate way to enjoy your food.

Breaking of bread:

There is something profoundly satisfying about sharing a meal, eating together, breaking bread together, which is one of the oldest and most fundamentally unifying of human food experiences I know of and it’s the one pastime I love the most!
